Stalls
Last year we had 88 stalls (up from 77 the year before). We are aiming for about the same this year. Last year we made a £900 loss, but a number of people helped out with donations and benefits so in the end we broke even. Therefore, we can keep the cost of both stalls and meetings the same as last year.
Stalls are £45 for a table which is roughly
5ft x 2ft. You can book half a stall for £22.50.
If you are prepared to give an hours labour contribution during the day (giving out programmes, rattling collection buckets, etc) we will reduce the cost of a full stall to £40 (£20 for ½ stalls).
If you want to book a stall just click here for a copy, fill out the form and post it back with a cheque. Bookings are confirmed when payment is received. You can also pay by paypal below.
It is possible for your booking to be rejected (Trots/people in political parties, please note). Also, because of the shortage of space, you may not get as much space as you asked for.
Meetings
We have six rooms available for meetings/speakers/discussions this year. Four of the rooms hold up to 70 people; one room holds about 100/120 people and the largest holds around 250. The meeting rooms, like last year, are £20 an hour except the two large meeting rooms, which are £40 an hour. We have limited space in the very largest room now. In order to try and make our lives a little easier in the general confusion of the day, we ask groups to give us a name of someone who will be a contact for the meeting. As ever, we're keen to prod people into having more interesting, varied and challenging meetings rather than just a re-hash of your meeting last year. We want the bookfair to be provocative: we think the meetings should be part of taking anarchist ideas forward not ploughing the same weary furrow. If you want to book a meeting click here for the booking form. Complete the form and return it to us with your cheque, or let us know you have paid by paypal. If you are booking a meeting we ask that you send us a title, who is running the meeting (your group or the individuals name) and some copy for the programme and website (about fifty words). This way, people know in advance what the meeting is about. As with stalls, meetings may be refused.
If you haven't paid yet and you have a debit or credit card, then payment can be made on the internet. click below to pay by debit or credit card.
You can also use this facility to make donations as well. These really help us, so if you can spare any money feel free to donate.

Programme
We're printing 5,000 copies of the programme, which will be given out free before or at the Bookfair. If you want to advertise in it, costs are £100 a page (fractions of a page are charged proportionally). Again do this by completing the booking form and returning it to us with a cheque.
Publicity
If you need posters or leaflets, contact us or collect them from either Freedom Bookshop at 84b Whitechapel High St , London E1 or Housmans Bookshop, 5 Caledonian Road , London , N1. Our costs for the Bookfair this year are just under £7,000 and we desperately need donations.
